What we collect, and why.

Last updated 7 November 2026. This page covers the VedOS Academy website, its waitlist and the private beta.

Visit statistics (everyone)

We count visits to understand how people find us. For each page view we record the date, the page, the website that sent you (its name only), any campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source), whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer, and your country as reported by our hosting provider.

We do not use cookies or store an ID in your browser for this. To count unique visitors, we combine your IP address and browser type with a random key that changes every day and is then deleted. We never store your IP address, and the result cannot be linked to you or across days.

Waitlist (if you join)

When you join, you agree to us storing: your email address, name, age group, whether you are a student, parent, teacher or something else, your country, how you heard about us (optional), and how you found the page (the same campaign tags and referring site as above). For under-18s we also record that a parent or guardian agreed.

We use these details only to run the waitlist, plan the beta and email you about it. Our team can see them to manage invitations. We do not sell or share them with advertisers.

Inside the Academy

Your progress is kept in your own browser. Optional product analytics stay off unless you turn them on inside the Academy.

How long we keep it, and your choices

• Waitlist details are deleted once you join the Academy or decline, or after 12 months, whichever is first.
• Visit statistics are kept as counts for up to 24 months.
• You can ask us to see, correct or delete your waitlist details at any time.
